Community Outreach
Major aspects of Chaîne’s community outreach include the Chaîne Foundation, the Foundation Friends, the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseur Competition, Young Sommelier Competition and the L’Académie de Brillat-Savarin. The Chaîne Foundation
Providing scholarships to deserving culinary and oenological students, which is in keeping with the goals of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage des Etats-Unis.
Foundation Friends
We now have a record number of Foundation Friends who annually give as unrestricted gifts at least $1,000 to the Chaîne Foundation to support our scholarship programs!
Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition
Competitions are held at regional, national and international levels in countries around the world to support and promote future young chefs by giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills.
Young Sommeliers Competition
Sommeliers benefit by increasing their professional knowledge and skills through the competitive process, by enhancing their resumé through Chaîne recognition, and by meeting new people both in their profession and in the Chaîne who can help them succeed in the future.
L'Académie de Brilliat-Savarin
A discrete organization and part of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs (“Society”) whose purpose is to encourage a technical and detailed understanding of foods, their preparation and effect on the senses; organize and promote excellence among the Society’s Professionals involved in the Food Industry.
